Articles
In this section we'll be posting results of our Bible studies in the form of articles. You're invited to study with us and share your thoughts. We have a firm belief that the conclusions presented in these articles are consistent with God's word as found in the Bible. We don't presume to present them as doctrine. We don't claim to have been subjects of special enlightenment, neither do we claim to be beyond error. We are sincere in our love for God and his wisdom and aspire to draw close to him by understanding his ways and his mind. We pray for His Holy Spirit, the same that produced the Bible, to help us understand it. Therefore, we allow the Scriptures to interpret themselves. The purpose of these articles is to offer an in-depht view of God's word as it presents itself to us.
With an open mind, we don't study the Bible in order that the text supports our pre-conceived ideas or indoctrination we have received previously, a process known as "eisegesis". Rather, we let our own ideas to be shaped after God's own thoughts, once the text of the Scriptures has been critically analyzed in its context, a process known as "exegesis". This may sometimes yield surprising results. We want to pay attention and accurately LISTEN to what God is telling us. Thus we are urged: “Listen to me, you people who are pursuing after righteousness, you who are seeking to find Jehovah.” (Isaiah 51:1) Yes, if you seek righteousness, listen to God - yes, to Him. Do not be fooled into believing that any given religious organization claiming to represent God can ever have more authority than God's Word itself. We pray that these articles are helpful to those 'seeking to find Jehovah'.
